Frequently asked questions
Do I need an account?
No. There’s no sign-up, login, or profile. The app works the instant you open it — just launch it and you’re tracking.
Why don’t I see driver photos or team logos?
The production app loads licensed driver and team imagery through the F1Track backend. If an image or its data provider is temporarily unavailable, F1Track uses a team-colour fallback so the timing screen remains readable.
How do I see a race when nothing is live?
The Schedule tab shows the next meeting and session countdowns, while Stats keeps completed-session results available after the track goes quiet. You can also browse the offline Learn guide, and Home Screen widgets continue to show the next meeting.
When does the starting grid appear?
The Race or Sprint grid appears after qualifying data becomes available. It is labelled provisional until the data provider confirms any penalty-adjusted positions.
Can I share results or timing views?
Yes. F1Track can create native 4:5 image cards for the live order, session results, teammate comparisons, pit stops, tyre strategy, starting grids, and championship standings.
How do notifications work? Why am I not getting alerts?
Enable notifications inside the app and allow them for F1Track in iOS Settings. Alerts are intentionally high-signal and deduplicated, so you’ll only be buzzed for meaningful moments rather than every timing change. If you’ve disabled notifications for F1Track in iOS Settings, delivery stops — re-enable them there to start receiving alerts again.
How do I manage or cancel F1Track Pro?
F1Track Pro is billed through your Apple ID. To manage or cancel it, open iOS Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions and select F1Track. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase, and the subscription auto-renews unless it is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
Is this the official F1 app?
No. F1Track is an independent, unofficial fan app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Formula 1, the FIA, FOM, or any Formula 1 team, driver, or broadcaster.
Which devices are supported?
F1Track runs on iPhone and iPad with iOS 17 or later, plus Apple Watch with watchOS 10 or later. It also includes Home Screen widgets, a Lock Screen Live Activity, Dynamic Island support, Apple Watch complications, and CarPlay support on iOS 18 or later.
How do I report a bug or request a feature?
Use the email options above. For a bug, include your device model, OS and F1Track versions, what happened, and the steps to reproduce it. For an idea, tell us what you’re trying to do and how it would improve your race weekend.
